With over a hundred groups taking part, 99 floats, nearly 3 and a half thousand people and many thousands more lining the streets of the city, the Guild Trades Procession kicked off the festivities in Preston with a huge celebrating of businesses and trades from the area.
Businesses, big and small took part in the procession, that always plays a key role in the Guild celebrations and itself, dates back hundreds of years.
Local retailers, dealerships and companies had the good weather to thank for a fantastic turnout. As the sun shone, Preston was awoken by waving hands and smiling faces, as the Guild really came to life.
