Think, Buy, Eat LOCAL – the future for Lancashire
Made in Lancashire is a local food network based at Myerscough College, traditionally working with producers, retailers and hospitality businesses from Lancashire, to help raise the profile of locally made food and drink, and to support the development and growth of businesses within the network.
Made in Lancashire offers a range of benefits to members including; use of the logo, marketing and promotional opportunities, business advice, consumer events, networking opportunities, support with grant and award applications. A range of services are also available for all local food and drink businesses from Lancashire including trade events, product promotion, product focus groups and an award and grant application writing service.
We hope that in the long term that this support will help create sustainable futures for the businesses that are part of the network. To add to this support and to stimulate greater enthusiasm for local food and drink, Made in Lancashire has launched two new membership packages; “Associates” membership and “Friends of Made in Lancashire”. Associate membership is aimed at businesses that can offer a relevant and quality service to other business members that will help them with everyday business growth and development. This could be anything from website design through to legal issues.
Friends of Made in Lancashire is for consumers that really enjoy tasty local food and drink and would like to indulge themselves that little bit more, through producer talks and tours, receiving copies of the Local Times magazine, discounted entry to “foodie” events, participation in product focus groups, special offers from Made in Lancashire members and much, much more.
