'Just Bin It' Litter Campaign takes to the road

LANCASTER City Council’s campaign to clean up our streets is hitting the road.
The Just Bin It! team will be hosting roadshows on the following dates and times: Thursday October 27 at the Arndale Centre, Morecambe - 11am - 4pm Wednesday November 2 - Marketgate, Lancaster - 11am - 4pm Monday, November 7 - Tesco in Carnforth - 12pm - 4pm
The team will be handing out information on what we can all do to help keep our streets tidy and free of rubbish.
Coun David Smith, Cabinet member with responsibility for Environmental Services, said: “We have a beautiful district and we all want to work together to keep it that way. “The council has its role to play but so too does the public – we want to see our beaches clean, and our countryside free of litter. And we want our town centres free of the blight of litter – and that means attacking litter on all fronts.”
