Hairy Bikers & Michael Caines
The centre of Bolton was transformed from market place to kitchen over the weekend, as celebrity chefs were once again rubbing shoulders with local producers and food lovers, for the sixth annual Bolton Food and Drink Festival.
The Hairy Bikers returned for a third year, wowing a capacity crowd with a lively display of their own home cooking.

This year's festival proved as popular as ever, with thousands taking to Bolton's streets in the name of good food. At times, there was barely any room to move in amongst the displays.

The market square was painted with the stalls of both local and international suppliers, with the aroma of traditional German bratwurst and spicy European meats, melding with the familiar smells of Lancashire cheeses, pies, kippers and cakes.
