Uncle Joe's celebrate their 2 Billionth Mint Ball.

Yesterday at the world famous Uncle Joe's Mint Ball factory, the company produced it's 2 billionth Sweet.
The Mint was showcased today at the Museum of Wigan Life and will then be displayed as part of a special exhibition set up in it's honour.
The first Mint Ball was made by Ellen Santus in her home in Acton Street, Wigan, 113 years ago.
It soon became the signature product of the confectionery company run by her husband, William Santus.
Current owners John and Antony Winnard were on hand to oversee the celebrations.
